Pineider Avatar UR Twin Tank Touchdown features a new filling mechanism with two ink chambers. A large one for long writing sessions and a small ink reservoir that is always connected to the nib for short writing sessions.
Fountain pen fills ink via a vacuum filler mechanism but shows two positions on piston knob: lock and unlock. Lock interrupts the connection from the larger reservoir to the smaller ink reservoir and also helps prevent ink leakage in transit. Unlock allows continuous ink flow between the two ink chambers for longer writing sessions.
Pineider Avatar UR Twin Tank Touchdown Devil Red is made of clear red material for the body and marbled red material for cap, grip section and piston knob. The material of this pen is called Unbreakable Resin (UR) and is highly resistant to cracks or damage if dropped. It features a magnetic cap closure and come with a steel nib.
