Take a look at Esterbrook Custom Nib Program and try "Journaler" and "Scribe" nib sizes. The first one is hand worked by Gena Salorino, an american nib master. In her own words, the custom nib Gena is grinding for Esterbrook is a “medium stub grind, based on the vintage Esterbrook 9314M nib. The idea is that it’s smooth and friendly enough for everyday use, gives your writing some flair, all without being too huge for practical writing”.
"Scribe" is made by the New Yorker Josh Lax and it's his version of architect nib. Gets inspired by the Near East architect nibs, less common than architect nibs based on European and Far Eastern styles of writing. It gives the writer the flexibility of fine downstrokes and broad horizontal strokes and can also be used in reverse for additional variation.
