Leonardo Momento Magico DNA features the traditional scheme of color with orange and black and will surely remind you to the roots of Leonardo Officina Italiana. The name "DNA" comes from the territory where Leonardo is based: the incandescent orange of the lava that covered the cities with the black of the dark land that surrounds and welcomes Naples.
The fountain pen features a piston filler mechanism with huge ink capacity of 1,5 ml that can be disassembled with the piston tool (sold separately). You will also find a transparent gray ink window on body to check the ink level inside your pen.
A new metal ring embellishes the cap with a motif who features the curves of Roman amphorae. Roman amphorae contained water, wine, magic potions and precious liquids in ancient Rome. Our fountain pens contain magic today, the beauty of ink that becomes history and tells about our daily life.
Leonardo Momento Magico DNA & Rhodium 14 KT is hand made in the Leonardo workshops and comes with a 14 KT gold nib and ebonite feed. "Leonardo" engraving with the serial number of the pen, that certifies craftsmanship, are located on the back of cap.
