The transparent red body shows the piston filler mechanism and the ink level during the use. The piston can be moved by removing the piston knob at the end of the body. The cap features the iconic Delta 925 sterling silver ring (plated in gold) made with high relief engraving technique. The decoration of the ring resumes a decoration of the excavations of Pompeii.
