This limited edition is a rare treat for design connoisseurs and pen collectors alike, as it comes in a set with a linen-clad notebook, a booklet that tells the story of the LAMY 2000 and Gerd A. Mueller’s biography, the designer who helped bring this fountain pen into the world.

It was 1966 when Dr. Manfred Lamy called Gerd A. Müller, a former designer at Braun, for creating Lamy 2000, a new concept that created the based for the future of Lamy brand. Its form and function are based on the Bauhaus principles and made it a timeless icon of design recognized and distinguished in museums everywhere.

Lamy 2000 is produced from a combination of polycarbonate and stainless steel that are mixed together with high-precision technical processes and sophisticated manual skills. Its 14 KT gold nib glides over the paper extremely smoothly. The detachable cap features a solid spring-loaded stainless steel clip. The piston filler fills a good amount of ink for your every day writing.
