Sailor ProGear Slim Mini Rencontre III Lapin is a limited edition fountain pen made with colors inspired by the forest. It features a marble grey body with ivory cap and details and complemented by gold trim.

Rencontre is French for “encounter”. This series embodies the encounter between acrylic resin which offers transparentness and durability, with the elegant texture of marble patterns, born of Sailorʼ s original technique. Two materials blending into each other to create irregular patters to take on a beautiful form. Resulting patterns are each unique and different. The marble patterned barrel of Sailor ProGear Slim Mini Rencontre is the iconic characteristic of this series and is manufactured with the injection molding method we normally employ for resin parts. Only under limited conditions can two colors form a beautiful marble pattern without blending too much into each other. Sailor Pen has developed an original technique for realizing marble patterns with polished shine and depth, using acrylic resin.

Easy to carry and easy to write is the claim used from the factory to launch the new model that is 18 mm shorter than Professional Gear Slim regular size. 106 mm is the length when fountain pen is closed and 132 mm is the posted size. The cap can screw to post onto the back of the barrel when writing. Sailor Professional Gear Slim Mini collection is equipped by a 14 KT gold nib available in FineMedium size only. It fills ink via original Sailor cartridges or the Sailor mini converter.
