Three stones in strong, vivid tones adorn the new models in the Scribo Piuma collection. Handmade by a resin that reproduces the effect of stone, the three new Scribo Piuma colours are inspired by Agate, Carnelian and Amethyst and their symbolism.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz, characterized by the presence of purplish shades. It often originates in sub-alkaline basaltic rocks. Known to man since 3,000 BC, this crystal was mined and venerated in Egypt, South Africa and Mesopotamia. The name amethyst derives from the Greek “améthystos” meaning “not drunk”, an etymology at the basis of one of the most fascinating myths in history.

Scribo Piuma Ametista is inspired by one of the longest-lived precious stones, a symbol of the elixir of life. It features a purple resin with yellow gold trim and is limited to 219 pieces worldwide.
