Taccia Hyakko-Hisho is a collection of fountain pens made by master craftsmen for expressing the art and beauty of the traditional "Wajima" lacquer technique, one of Japanese traditional culture.
The name of this collection is inspired by a compilation of informations for all traditional crafts, organized and classified in 17-18 centuries. This extremely valuable material allows us to study and see precious informations about paper, urushi, wood, ivory, bamboo and more.
Every Taccia Hyakko-Hisho fountain pen was created by getting inspiration for the historical value of the Hyakko-Hisho where also the craftsmen of lacquer who produced this pen studied. So you will touch history and Japanese culture with your hands.
The desing of this pen came from the scabbard of Japanese Samurai sword and. itis a perfect cilindric made with precious and high-quality ebonite. Taccia Hyakko-Hisho Hakudou features a 12 facets ebonite body and cap with silver clip and a 14 KT gold Sailor nib. The pen in fact accepts only original Sailor converter and cartridges.
On the bottom body is hand-painted a signature from the artist and its serial number. Limited edition to only 50 pieces worldwide.
