Visconti Medici Fountain Pen Ruthenium

Visconti Medici Ruthenium is a homage to pays homage to this important Florentine dynasty. It is a fountain pen made of a special resin composed by acrylic and silk fibers. For a more contemporary look, this special acrylic blend has been sandblasted to achieve a fine satin finish. The design features a 8 sides with a new ink window that allows the ink level to be inspected through its refined metallic skeleton with the shape of Florentine lily.

This symbol, found on the city’s coat of arms, represents beauty, nobility and pride. As a fundamental element of Florentine culture and tradition since the Middle Ages, it has been represented in paintings by numerous Florentine artists such as Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo Buonarroti as a link between Florence and artistic beauty.

The fountain pen is equipped with a 18k gold nib with ruthenium trim. Cap uses Visconti "Hook Safe Lock", an innovative system that is easy to use and safe while carrying.
